Emerald Pool Map, Walking Routes and Facilities

From the ticket point there are two marked ways to Emerald Pool. The 800 m direct route is the shorter choice. The 1,000 m nature trail is the more scenic route and passes Crystal Pool before joining the visitor-centre area. From Emerald Pool, Blue Pool is another 600 m each way along the forest path.

The illustration is schematic rather than to scale. Follow current park signs if a path or barrier differs from the map, particularly after rain.

The map places the restrooms at point 7, beside the visitor centre and welfare shop, shortly before the final approach to Emerald Pool. Use them before continuing to the pool or walking the additional 600 m to Blue Pool; the map does not show another restroom at Blue Pool.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand also lists toilets, changing rooms and showers at the attraction. They are practical park facilities, not resort facilities. The welfare shop is in the same general area, but stock and opening arrangements can vary, so bring drinking water rather than depending on the shop.

The ticket point is before both walking routes. Parking is outside the forest walking area near the entrance. Independent visitors should carry Thai baht for admission, parking and small purchases because card acceptance should not be assumed.

Choose the shorter direct path when walking distance is the main concern. The nature trail is more interesting but adds distance, and the Blue Pool extension makes the return longer again. Read the children and accessibility guide before visiting with limited mobility.
