Emerald Pool is the designated swimming pool; Blue Pool is a separate viewing-only spring farther along the forest trail in Khao Pra-Bang Khram Wildlife Sanctuary. Blue Pool lies about 600 metres beyond Emerald Pool, so visiting it adds walking and depends on its own access restrictions as well as your tour’s available time.
Emerald Pool, also called Sa Morakot, is the main freshwater swimming stop reached from the sanctuary entrance. Blue Pool, also called Bo Nam Phut, is a deeper blue spring used for viewing and photographs; the two names describe different places, and permission to swim at Emerald Pool never extends to Blue Pool.

The visitor-map distances put Blue Pool about 600 metres beyond Emerald Pool, adding roughly 1.2 kilometres for the return extension. Using the 800-metre direct approach to Emerald Pool both ways makes the full walk about 2.8 kilometres; these are route estimates, and signs or closures can require a different plan.
Blue Pool has separate access hours and seasonal conservation restrictions, so an open Emerald Pool entrance does not prove the Blue Pool trail is open. Published visitor guidance commonly describes a May–October closure, but the current sanctuary notice controls access; ask staff before committing to the extra walk or relying on a tour photograph.
