Walk through the forest to Emerald Pool and get in for a swim. A short drive away, the Hot Spring Waterfall has warm water flowing through stone pools. Blue Pool is different again: lovely to look at, but swimming isn't allowed.

Is Emerald Pool worth visiting?+

Yes, if you'd enjoy a forest walk and a swim away from the beach. Go early if you can, as the pool gets busier when tour groups arrive.

Can visitors swim in Emerald Pool?+

Yes, in the main Emerald Pool swimming area. Blue Pool is for looking and taking photos, not swimming.

Are Krabi Hot Springs at the same entrance?+

No. The Hot Springs have their own entrance and admission fee. They're a short drive from Emerald Pool, which is why tours usually visit both.

Is a private tour worth the extra cost?+

It can be, especially if you're travelling with family or friends and want your own minivan. Add everyone's entrance fees and any lunch or guide extras before comparing the total.
